BioAlthough I am English, I have lived in France for a long time. I was educated in the UK, at two special schools for the blind, then at a mainstream university where I studied French and German. I therefore speak French fluently, and I also speak German. Since I came to France, I have trained to be a bilingual secretary and a call centre worker, but I haven't yet been able to find jobs doing either of these types of work yet: I still hope to find a job one day, preferably some kind of bilingual telephone work. In the meantime, I have plenty of hobbies to keep me occupied. I am a Christian and a churchgoer, but I am not here to convert people. I play keyboards, often hymns in church, but I have also played in a rock band. I sing in three choirs as well. I also enjoy keeping in contact with friends all over the world: a very good reason for having this Livejournal!
